Find Easter Eggs and win an Autographed Songbook and Digital Soundtrack!

An Easter egg is an intentional inside joke, hidden message, or feature in a work such as a computer program, movie, book, or crossword. This practice is similar in some respects to hidden signature motifs such as Diego Rivera‘s including himself in his murals, Alfred Hitchcock‘s legendary cameo appearances (hint), Fritz’s appearances in the works of Chris van Allsburg, and various “Hidden Mickeys” that can be found throughout the various Disney Parks. – Wikipedia (of course)

The rules are easy!

1. Watch Libertaria: The Virtual Opera

2. Jot down the time code for every film, book, art, music, or sci-fi reference that you can find (both in the visuals, lyrics and the music) with a short description.

Pris from Blade Runner makes an appearance at 24:16 in Libertaria.

For the example above, just write “24:16 Pris from Blade Runner”.

3. Send your list of Easter Eggs to penayoungmusic@gmail.com by Easter Day (April 20th. 2014) with the heading “Libertaria Easter Egg Hunt”.

You should have a minimum of 10 references, but there are many more added by the animators and composer. Groups of people may enter together and each will receive a digital album, however, only one autographed songbook will be mailed out.

The winner will be announced by May 1. If you win the Libertaria Easter Egg Hunt, then you will be contacted via e-mail for a preferred mailing address for the songbook (domestic US only will receive the autographed songbook). If you are international, you will receive digital copies of the songbook, the digital album, and other fun goodies!

There will be one winner from the US and one international winner announced. If you are from outside the US, please state your country of origin in your Subject Heading “Libertaria Easter Egg Hunt: Japan” so you can enter the international contest.

Have fun! And join up with friends to win the Libertaria Easter Egg Hunt!
